urban apartment
moscow - russia

A secondary apartment today must have variable dimensions: it must be open to unpredictable and changing occupants, sometimes dedicated to parties, sometimes guests, sometimes tenants, sometimes to the owner only, and sometimes to all of them together. Anyway, an apartment cannot offer a huge variety of spaces, due to the compact size. Thus, the project elaborates on the corridor as the spatial core of the apartment, and investigates how continuities and discontinuities can be alternatively generated around this core by movable architectural components.
