public space redevelopment
tainan - taiwan, competition

Because of a recent attempt to increase commercial surfaces that has diminished open spaces and the accessibility of the city, the main boulevard of Tainan city asks for a new organization of public space. Without the chance to rely on a large budget, the project suggested the extension of a landscape architecture approach to all components of urban space. Thus, natural and socio-technical elements were equally addressed, so as that the natural spaces, pedestrian spaces, and car spaces can start to overlap within an environmental continuum.
