Artificial Climate is a photographic series part of Untitled Climates, the project that investigates climate as the critical point of view on the landscape at the time of globalization. In particular, this series delves into the environment of the swimming pool as the artificial climate par-excellence. On the occasion of the exhibition of Artificial Climate at the Unknown Asia Art Fair 2017, an architectural installation was devised in order to challenge the materiality of the photographic media in the light of the attempt to portray the visual character of the air as the very constituent of climatic experiences. Indeed, the pictures were experimentally printed on extra-thin rice paper and suspended in catenary shape so as to challenge the perception of the image and the media.
